The two balconies had great views across the valley and village, towards the slopes and gondolas. Our two-room apartment had good beds, though the bedroom was fairly small. The air inside was very dry, and the heaters only let you switch them on or off. They cooled down in the early evening either way. It stayed warm enough, but ski clothes, gloves, and hats did not all dry immediately. Most were dry by the next morning. There was a TV and Wifi, plus a new kitchen with a stove, microwave, and dishwasher. It had nearly everything, though a toaster would have been useful. The walk to the gondolas takes 10-13 minutes through a beautiful village. A card for the modern ski depot next to the gondola station in Fiss was included, so we didn’t have to carry our gear each morning. The depot fits three sets of skis, boots, and helmets. You can park in front of the house, and Brötchen can be delivered each morning if you want. The owners were friendly. Apt. "Frommes" works best for two people or parents with a small child. A travel bed for children up to three is available and just about fits in the bedroom. Definitely recommended.

Kids have plenty to enjoy here, from the playroom with ping-pong, pool, books, and foosball to the huge garden and trampoline. The hosts are very friendly, and it’s excellent value for money. The church is just a few steps away, while the gondola lifts take around ten minutes to reach on foot. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained.

At Haus Fossa we stayed in the Bernina apartment, which was spacious and really wonderful for our winter sports week in Fiss. It had a terrace with comfortable lounge chairs, two large bedrooms, a small bathroom with a sink and shower, and a separate toilet. The kitchen came with a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, and microwave. Each evening, guests could use the lovely new sauna and steam bath, with a relaxation area. Highly recommended. We’d love to come back and hope to see you again!

We were especially impressed by the furnishings and all the thoughtful details at Appartement Fossa. The apartments are modern, very clean, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The mountain view is magnificent, and the location is perfect. After skiing, we enjoyed unwinding in the sauna and steam room. Mrs. Schmid was always friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.
