Schimpfösslhof

The kids, aged 4 and 6, were thrilled by the play area, and especially by the animals they could visit whenever they wanted. We had a wonderful family holiday. The apartment was well looked after, with two bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. It was easy to prepare our own meals, though Fiss also has some very good restaurants. We’ll definitely come back.

The children had a great time visiting the animals and playing with all the toys around the house and yard. We also loved the mountain view from our apartment. The Schimpfössl family made us feel very welcome and were incredibly friendly. The farm is right in the centre of the village but surprisingly peaceful, with everything easy to reach on foot. We’ve rarely stayed in an apartment so well equipped, and didn’t find ourselves short of anything. We enjoyed it enough that we’re already planning another holiday there.

We come back to stay with the Schimpfössl family every year. They’re really friendly and keep the whole building clean and tidy. The spot next to the church is ideal, and the ski lifts are less than a five-minute walk away. We can use their lockers to get ready there, then head out for a fantastic day on the slopes.

We stayed in the Frommes apartment from January 18th to 25th, 2020. It had everything we needed and was very well equipped. There was even a little cake for each of us when we arrived. The sauna was fantastic and free to use, and we could also borrow sleds and strollers at no cost.
