Apartment Huber

Although the building is beautiful and the location is nice, I wouldn’t book here for a holiday. The apartments are old, the kitchen is broken, including the refrigerator, and the owners are hard to reach. They’re above a supermarket, which might sound convenient, but trucks and dozens of carts move supplies around the building from 5:00 AM, waking everyone. It’s incredibly noisy, and you can hear the neighbors’ conversations so clearly you could join in. There’s a clean elevator, among other nice features, but be careful booking, especially through Booking.com.

Apartment 10 was comfortable and very nice. We liked the beautiful decor, cozy atmosphere, and modern kitchen. The contact person was friendly and helpful.

Paying a €100 short-stay surcharge and then being told that just two rolls of toilet paper were included was the most frustrating part. There were only three dishwasher tablets for our four-day stay, and just one trash can with a single bag and no spare, which made recycling awkward. The kitchen was missing basics like a frying pan, peppercorns, and a colander, though it did have a meat tenderizer. In the bathroom, a shower screen would help stop water from splashing out and flooding the floor, and there was no soap dispenser for washing our hands after using the toilet. The apartment could have been fine, but these things left us with a very negative impression.
