The quiet surroundings were great, and the location is close to the ski resorts and just a short walk from Erlebnistherme. The apartment for four is spacious, with a large balcony, but the sleeping setup is really two proper beds and a pull-out sofa that seems better suited to two kids. The beds are very soft while the sofa is very hard. It’s an old-school place, but clean and friendly, with a small kitchenette. There’s no microwave, though there is a large stove with a real oven, an electric kettle and a filter coffee maker. You can use the ski storage and sauna, and the Wi-Fi is strong with no extra charge. The final cleaning fee felt a bit expensive.

This is a cozy, old-fashioned place, with stuffed animals in the entrance and deer antlers on the wall. The rooms and bathrooms aren't modern or coordinated, so don't expect that kind of look. Our hostess was an older lady, very friendly and attentive, and the whole family pitches in with cleaning and other things. It’s a great base for winter sports, near Fugen and Kaltenbach.

A pleasant, quiet spot on the edge of Fügen. We could walk into town in a pleasant way, about 1 km away. There’s ski storage and a sauna. The ski bus or train stop is farther off, so I’d recommend coming by car.

The place feels very dated and has little furniture, and the pull-out bed is really hard. Still, it’s pleasant and has a family feel.
