Apartment IV is conveniently located near Spieljochbahn and the bus station for Hochfügen. That’s about the only positive from our stay there a week ago. The apartment is very old overall, and its layout and services don’t match what was advertised. It felt like a tourist trap and was very disappointing, with poor value for money. The listing says it sleeps 4-5, but the fifth person costs an extra 25 euros per day despite getting only a couch-style bed in the living room and no space for their things. Towels also cost extra, 8 euros per person. The second bedroom is really a walk-through room between the kitchen and living room, with no door to separate it from the kitchen. The second shower has only a shower and a door, while its sink is in that walk-through room. The kitchen is very old and basic, with little space and no dishwasher, so don’t plan on cooking much. The mattresses are old and hurt your back. They also advertise a 15% discount on ski equipment, but the actual discount is only 10%.

It’s a great location, and the beds are clean and good quality, but the kitchen and bathroom look untouched since the 1970s. The price doesn’t really reflect their condition, especially since the quoted amount excludes a €60 cleaning charge and towels cost extra. It’s no longer good value for money.

The place is cozy and in a fantastic location, but the walls don’t block sound or smells. Bath towels cost extra, and since they weren’t in the room we had to go to the other side of town to get them. The heating didn’t work for about three days, and nobody responded when we contacted them.

It’s more like a small hotel room than an apartment, and the value for money is very poor. The place badly needs renovation, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially with such a high cleaning fee. Water pressure was almost nonexistent. Kitchen supplies were scarce too: no sieve, salt, pepper, or oil, and hardly any dishes. Parking depended on luck. We paid for towels, but they were missing at first, and the terrace is shared.
