The ski bus stops right outside, and there's a first-rate ski room with a boot drying rack. Our room had lovely mountain views. Staff were friendly and attentive, the service was excellent, and the cuisine was outstanding. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and hope to return next year.

You can see the mountains from the windows, and every room has a terrace. The rooms are big and clean, and the hotel is in a perfect spot. Everyone working there was kind and helpful. I love this hotel and recommend it to everyone.

We had a great stay at hotel Alphof for 9 days in the middle of the Stubai valley. Even with a bit of a language barrier since we don't speak German, everyone on staff was welcoming and warm. Our room was comfortable and kept clean, and the food was excellent: a buffet breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, different breads, Tirolese yogurt and cereals, then five-course dinners featuring local recipes. We were sorry to leave without properly saying goodbye to Sascha, who served us at most dinners. We spoke English with him, and his heartwarming smile and exceptionally kind nature made people feel happy and welcome. We’re glad we stayed and can warmly recommend it.

There was no refrigerator in the room, and the old furniture and carpet didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. The carpet made us sneeze throughout our 2-day stay. The cookies and cakes at breakfast and lunch weren't fresh. We had ordered Christmas dinner a day ahead and arrived at the appointed time, but waited 2 hours with our small child, who was 1 year and 7 months old. As the child started falling asleep in a chair, we asked the waitress to bring food to the room, a service the hotel offers. Administrator Krisz wouldn't let her do it. We went to bed hungry on Christmas Eve. The next morning, with our mood and Christmas Eve spoiled, we decided to head home early. At reception, Administrator Krisz asked why we were leaving and how he could help, though he already knew what had happened. When we explained, he didn't even apologize and instead told us, "you are not at home." The hotel says everywhere, "With us you will feel at home." We don't recommend it, especially for a family holiday with children. The 4-star amenities aren't there, and the price is many times too high for the quality of service.
