Modern, tidy, and right in the center, with a price that works too. If FC Schalke 04 plays in the Stubai Valley again, we'll happily return.

The kitchen, bathroom, and room were all equipped with everything we needed, very well done. The central spot has plenty going for it, with shops and restaurants nearby and a train that goes straight to Innsbruck. But it's right beside a stream, which gets quite noisy at night with the window open in summer. Shut the windows and the apartment gets stuffy. Another small downside was the welcome. The elderly owners speak only German, and seem obliged to handle the reception. After a few hours on the road, being lectured about sorting garbage wasn't what we expected.

We spent two weeks here, and the towels and bed linen weren't changed during our stay. Also, the comfortable chairs leave bits of plastic on your clothes when you stand up.

Our first stay in the Stubai Valley, and Haus am Bach turned out to be just right. The apartment was very nice, and the hosts were friendly.
