The sauna area is adorable, and there’s a small lake outside. We also had a very nice ground-floor double room, plenty of parking, and a tasty breakfast. We picked this place for its location in the Wachau area, breakfast included, and pleasant surroundings, and everything worked out really well. Booking.com gave me trouble, so I used the website contact form and email instead, which went smoothly. The Nikolaihof restaurant is just a short walk away and is a great dinner spot. Definitely recommend for couples or groups.

It’s a great base for exploring the Wachau valley, with everything close by. We stayed for a week as a family, in the house and an adjoining room, and both were brand new. The property is beautiful and well cared for, with a small pool and frogs 🐸. Kids have a great playground and lots of green space to run around in. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the coffee was excellent too. The hosts are kind and helpful. You can take home their wine, yummy apricot jam, and other products. I’d definitely stay again!

The chalets are especially handy on rainy workdays, with two rooms, a kitchen, and a large dining table. Getting around on foot is easy: the Danube and village center are each about three minutes away, and Stein/Krems is a ten-minute walk across the bridge. It’s a well-located guest house for exploring the Wachau area, with pleasant rooms, good indoor and outdoor spaces, a great breakfast, and friendly staff.

We really loved the guesthouse. The breakfasts were delicious too :) If you’re visiting the area, I definitely recommend staying here!
