Pension Antonia

The lakefront setting and swimming area were fantastic, and Fuschl worked well as a base for hiking and cycling. We stayed five days in July at Pension Antonia on Lake Fuschl. Our small double room had a kitchenette and balcony, just right for us, and there was a place to store and charge our e-bikes.

The owners were lovely and helpful, and we had a room with a varied breakfast prepared with care. We especially enjoyed the garden right by the lake, with loungers and places to sit. We came back to Pension Antonia in July for our second stay, and even the changeable weather didn’t spoil it. The guesthouse is centrally located in Fuschl. We’ll definitely return.

We felt very comfortable here and would highly recommend the guesthouse. The lake is less than a minute away, and the private lake access gave us a front-row view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks. The town center is under a five-minute walk, handy in the cold, with the winter Christmas market and restaurants also easy to reach on foot. We stayed just under a week between Christmas and New Year’s. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Our cozy room had a lovely mountain view, a TV, sofa, dining table, plus a small kitchenette with a table and chairs. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom too.

We could walk to everything and leave the car parked here. The balcony was a nice place to unwind after a rainy day, though when the weather allowed, we preferred sitting out on the jetty by the lake. We spent more than a week in a bright, spacious apartment that felt modern and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. We felt very welcome and hope to come back soon.
