The terrace was full of annoying flies, even though the service was great and the food looked good. The boar meat was just regular pork. I hate being lied to so blatantly.

The hotel was well placed for short drives to nearby hiking trails and lakes, and looking into the stables from the breakfast room was a pretty cool touch. Breakfast was a standard German-Austrian spread, enough for me, but anyone expecting a fancy five-star meal would be disappointed. I stayed three nights in September. My room was clean, and the wooden features made it feel warm and welcoming. The balcony was lovely for morning coffee with the mountains in view. Staff were really friendly and happy to help. I also booked horse riding there, which was lots of fun at any experience level. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return if I’m in the area again. The mountain views are beautiful.

I came across the Almabtrieb through Facebook events, and a lifelong bucket-list dream came true. What an experience, a beautiful, fun afternoon, and so well organized. The location is gorgeous, and the hotel accommodation was great. I’ll consider staying here in the future. Thank you!

The room for two was comfortable, roomy enough, and had a great view. We had a really pleasant stay, and it was good accommodation for the price.

We had a nice time on the pony rides. We went by ourselves with the ponies into the forest behind the hotel.
