Ofenloch Apartments

The location was the only good thing. The apartment was disgusting and dirty, the bed sat on 2x4s, and I couldn't turn the heat off or even down. The shower was much too small for anyone bigger than my petite size 6. We couldn't get a response from anyone, and there was nobody around for maintenance. Don't let the pictures fool you about this 1 BR apt. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

We had a lovely view, okay WiFi, and a comfortable bed. Everything apart from the bathroom was clean, but we found a few hairs in there, which was surprising at that price. I'm not sure why there was no sugar and only 3 coffees for a four-day stay for two people. I'd suggest leaving toilet paper even if there's a bidet.

We're on day 7 now and still haven't heard from the owner about the heating. It's stifling hot in here, and there's no way to turn it down. I've messaged repeatedly, but, as other reviews say, she never gets back to us. I wish I could give this zero stars. The bed is tiny, and the shower is even tinier. I love the location, but I won't return or recommend it. The self check-in directions were wrong, and the safe downstairs was empty. Luckily, we found our room key on top of it, but the envelope with the registration forms that was supposed to be inside wasn't there. For the money we spent, I expected much better support.

We arrived expecting to use the self check-in, but there was no key where the instructions said it would be. We called and messaged the property through Booking.com and at their phone number, with no reply. Booking.com later told us the property had said it could no longer host us. We heard nothing directly until the next day, when they sent check-out details, which were no use since we had already found somewhere else to stay. Luckily we managed to arrange other accommodation. I wouldn't recommend this place. After I posted this review, they charged us for a stay we never had and still haven't replied to any of my refund messages.
