For a short, cheap stay, it was okay and the central location is very practical. I also liked that the place doesn’t cram in ten sleeping cabins. The AC is there, but once you close a cabin door it gets warm quickly, and the ventilation doesn’t do much. The plastic cabins carry every footstep, and their doors sometimes squeak. With the mattress on a board above the cabin frame, gaps are left at the edges, so take care that small valuables don’t slip through. There are lots of things under the cabins, and the dust under the mattress could be rough for anyone with allergies. The shower looks modern, but the floor stays wet because there’s no bath mat. There’s no toilet brush, so after a few hours the toilets are often dirty and smelly.

The capsules are cheap plastic, so noise carries everywhere, and everything was dusty above and underneath them. My mattress was uncomfortable, the TV remote didn’t work, and one USB port was defective. The place feels like a failed attempt to copy the Japanese capsule idea. Don’t stay in these tacky plastic coffins. The capsule I had was faulty and offered no way to have both darkness and ventilation. I woke up gasping and feeling suffocated, and found I could only sleep with the door open. Management didn’t reply to my urgent message for 24 hours, by which time I was due to check out the next morning. They had my money and weren’t interested in a refund or any other solution. There are no staff on site. This place is an absolute disaster. The hosts and Booking.com seem to care only about profit, treating guests like numbers. We’d be better off without organisations like this.

The room was clean and tidy, and check-in went smoothly exactly as described. It’s also in a great spot, close to the city centre. But I still can’t recommend it, because getting any rest was impossible. The capsule doors slam so loudly that everything shakes and vibrates, like an earthquake. Every sound carries through the cabins, from snoring to loud conversations, and the whole sleeping area seems to resonate. Most guests showed little basic consideration for others. Free earplugs are a fair gesture and help somewhat, but they don’t block enough noise. Curtains instead of plastic doors might help, though I understand that may not be feasible.

The concept is fun, the location is great, and my capsule was cozy and comfortable. But it wasn’t very clean. I found a used Q-tip in the gap by the sliding door, along with other kinds of dirt.
