Jaglhof

The Jaglhof restaurant served wonderful local dishes, with a great range of wines to go with them. There’s also a shop on site where you can buy wine and other local products, handy gifts to take home. We loved walking through the surrounding vineyards and stopping for regional food, and there are amazing 360-degree views from all around the property. The new team gave the place a fresh feel, and the staff were so friendly, helpful with our questions, and easy to chat with. The rooms were well equipped and had lots of thoughtful little details. The infinity pool and wellness area were spacious, clean, and well equipped too. Best wishes to the new team. Definitely worth a visit!

The staff were attentive to the guest experience and very well trained. I've stayed in many similar places, but that whole weekend here felt like a story. It's a wonderful place in a dreamlike setting.

The car accident in the hotel parking lot ruined the day. Our rental car was parked there when the hotel's free taxi service hit it. We needed a police report for the rental insurance, but the hotel employees refused to call the police and weren't helpful. We had to drive the damaged car to the police station ourselves and pay for the report. The taxi service also refused to give us its insurance information. We spent the day sorting all that out, missed every winery, and the hotel did nothing to help us feel better or salvage the experience. We felt taken advantage of as foreign guests. The staff seemed more interested in their lunch than helping us, and weren't compassionate. This company just wants your money and doesn't care about guests or their experience. The hotel is modern, nice, and clean, but it isn't ready for international travellers. The restaurant food was poor too, the risotto was hard and undercooked. I've never written a review before, but after this experience I felt other travellers should know.

The countryside around this cozy hotel is amazing, and the views are splendid. We enjoyed the friendly staff, good wine, and food. I hope I get to return someday.
