We spent our honeymoon here in October, and it was absolutely lovely. The hotel was quiet and cozy, with an astonishing view. The staff were very kind, and the owner helped us plan our hiking route every morning. We'd recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Bad Gastein.

What made the stay especially warm was the staff. Every team member was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help, which added a personal touch throughout our visit to Das Schider in Bad Gastein. The hotel is convenient for skiers, with a ski bus stop just 10 meters away. The room was kept impeccably clean with daily maintenance, and the sauna was top-notch after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was included in the accommodation price and served buffet-style, with a wide choice of fresh, high-quality food for different tastes. Guests can also use the shared kitchen to prepare lunch or dinner, which is handy and can save money compared with eating out. I highly recommend Das Schider for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Bad Gastein.

We came by train, which was easy enough, either with a 15 minute walk through the picturesque town or by bus from the train station. At Das Schider, Alexandra did everything she could to make our stay perfect, and we felt very welcome. The rooms are super clean, modern, and thoughtfully furnished, while the lobby is stylish with comfy sofas. Breakfast was fresh and locally sourced, and they also took care of glutenfree options for us. The view and the whole sauna experience were amazing. We found Das Schider through its great reviews and can confirm they're well deserved!

The scenery around this hotel is gorgeous, and the view is spectacular. We had a lovely stay in a spacious, clean room with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was simple but good, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bad Gastein.

Evenings were especially relaxing, with jazz playing in the lounge as we looked out over the valley and played board games :))). The breakfast had fresh dairy products, organic fruit, and plenty of teas and coffee. Our room was clean and had a lovely view, and the car park felt secure. Alexandra, the hotel manageress, was pleasant and helpful, with useful local tips. Das Schider at Bad Gastein made for a peaceful getaway.
