After skiing, we headed straight to the wellness area to unwind. Sauna and wellness master József Németh brought both expertise and humor, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We spent two fantastic days on the Gastein slopes in fresh powder snow, and booked EUROPÄISCHER HOF Bad Gastein again, having stayed there on three of our previous four visits. The heated ski room for boots and clothes, separate unheated ski storage, billiards and ping-pong, wellness pool, sauna, and high-quality breakfast were all highlights. Dinner is also available as an option. We arrived at 1 AM, well past check-in, and were welcomed without a problem. Highly recommended to everyone, and thank you, József!

We were with family and really enjoyed sharing breakfast and dinner. After skiing, we relaxed at the spa, where our friend Joseph treated us to a wonderful sauna experience. We felt super refreshed afterwards. I had a very good time here and would 100% recommend it.

It was my first visit to Austria, and this hotel made it a perfect experience. The mountain views from the rooms were lovely, and the wellness and spa were great. Everyone was friendly, and the hospitality and food were wonderful.

The pool was really clean and enjoyable. I spent 2 weeks here with my friend, and staff member Joseph was amazing. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

The sauna and breakfasts were great, and the waiters were very nice. The rooms are practical overall, though a bit outdated for a 4-star plus hotel. We were very disappointed by the hotel's service and security. My ski boots went missing from the ski room on the first day, and there are no cameras there. The staff weren't helpful and actively stopped us from speaking with the hotel manager to sort it out. We were told every day that the manager would contact us, but that still hasn't happened. They also say they aren't insured for damage caused to guests. We were unhappy with how we were treated and how the hotel is managed. If something goes wrong, it feels like the hotel avoids responsibility and won't talk to you.
