We spent a week at Landhaus Angerhof with several families, each in a different unit. It works really well when a few smaller groups are travelling together. There’s a swimming pool for summer stays, while the rest of the house is cozy, nicely furnished and in a beautiful setting. Kids have a well-stocked play corner, and there’s a heated room for storing skis and boots. A washing machine and fresh bread in the morning are handy too. The bus stop is right at the start of the driveway, so we didn’t need a car to get to the ski lifts or back from apres-ski. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it for a holiday in the Gastein valley. We’ll be back.

We rented a large apartment for a week in summer, with two families sharing it. I’d definitely like to return. The apartments are well maintained and very clean, though not luxurious, and had everything we needed. There’s also a shared washing machine, dryer and vacuum cleaner. Lars and Dina were excellent hosts and very helpful. When we needed extra baking equipment for a birthday party, they lent us their own. Most essential shops are within walking distance, and the area is lovely for long walks or short bike rides. The mountains all around offer magnificent views. The photo was taken on a summer day from the riverbank just behind the house. It’s a great spot for meditation or yoga.

There’s plenty to do nearby, and the mountain views all around are amazing. The hosts were super friendly, and it felt like a paradise for kids. The guest house was spotless, decorated with lovely flowers and traditional Austrian touches. Highly recommend!

Fresh bakery goods arrived at our door each morning, which was a lovely touch. The owners were warm and welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. The guesthouse has beautiful surroundings, and the location worked really well for skiing: the bus stop is 100 metres away, the Ramazzotti restaurant is 500 metres away, and Billa and M-Preis are a two-minute drive. It’s close to the Bad Hofgastein, Angertal, and Bad Gastein slopes. We had a great stay and would visit again.

The hosts were really friendly, and there are lots of ways to enjoy the outdoors right on the property. It’s a nice place to stay, with mountain views from the garden.
