I had a very bad experience here and wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in, especially for the price. From outside it looks great, but two of the four stove burners didn’t work, and the hot water usually ran out after five minutes. In one room, the shower was fitted badly, so water regularly leaked out underneath while we used it. We also sent two or three emails and waited over a month without an answer, and still got no reply afterward. The owner doesn’t speak any English, which makes communication even harder for non-German speakers in such a frequently visited location.

The owners were really nice, and I’d definitely recommend the place. The price was average, and the apartment was so clean and tidy. Ours faced the river and had three floors, three rooms, two toilets, and two bathrooms. The best part was having bumgun bathroom hose or bidet spray in both toilets. Downstairs there was a bathroom and toilet, coat and shoe hangers, and a cabinet. The middle floor had the living room, a bedroom with separate beds, a small kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and oven, plus the dining table. Upstairs were two bedrooms with queen beds and cabinets, along with another toilet and bathroom. Heaters were everywhere, and the view was spectacular. We could have breakfast on the balcony. It’s within driving distance of other cities like Hallstatt, Salzburg, and Zell am see, around an hour and a half away by car. There are two supermarkets nearby, including an Arabic one called “47 north”. The only issue for me was that the wifi wasn’t very good in some parts of the apartment. I don’t have many good photos of the place, unfortunately.

The penthouse apartment (18) gave us lots of space, which we really appreciated. It was a clean, central place for our ski holiday with the young kids. We could walk into the centre of Bad Hofgastein and to the Schlossalmbahn ski lift, with the ski-bus stop below it. There was bread service and a ski storage room, and everything was clean. We had a really enjoyable holiday.
