Pension Wassererhof

A good, filling breakfast and a very friendly, helpful host. It’s a peaceful place, just right if you’re looking for some quiet. We’d recommend this guesthouse.

For the prices around here, I think this is very good value. Parking is on-site, and the bus stop is a five-minute walk away. It’s the first and last stop on the Gerlos ski bus route, so there’s always room when you get on. The owners are friendly and helpful. The old building doesn’t have many power outlets, so bring an extension cord and power strip, as we did after reading an earlier review. We booked a double room with two single beds and a separate bathroom for a few days of skiing. We just slept and had breakfast at the guesthouse, and it suited us fine. Breakfast is simple but good, with Emperor rolls, eggs, toppings, juice, coffee, and yogurt. The only drawback was the ski and snowboard storage in the workshop downstairs. A rack to dry boots and store gear neatly would be useful, since we had to dry our boots in the room.

It was so relaxing here, with mountain views and goats and cows nearby. The location is a lovely starting point for hikes, and everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we always enjoyed a friendly chat with the hostess :) We’d definitely come back!

The Wasserehof is peaceful, with a beautiful view. It’s a three-kilometer trip to the center and ski lift, and the free ski bus is within walking distance. The bedrooms are spacious and basic but clean, with good beds. Every morning there’s a complete, good breakfast buffet in the atmospheric stube, with delicious coffee and friendly service. Very good value for money.
