The only downside for me was that there's no elevator. Otherwise, it's a nice, fully renovated family-run hotel in the center of Gerlos, with guest parking and the cable car just a few meters away. The family clearly tries to make people feel at home, and it's a pleasant place for a vacation.

For 15 Januaries in a row, we've stayed at Petererhof and will be back next year. It's in a great spot by the ski lift, restaurants, and supermarket. Everything is organized and tidy, and the included locker at the Dorfbahn lift is a real plus. Breakfast is always excellent. The apartment has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen where you could easily cook.

We enjoyed the stay itself, but we won't return. A larger apartment opened up unexpectedly, and after a long series of back-and-forths we agreed on it, with a different payment amount each time. The final bill had gone up again when we left. The daughter was rude and kept interrupting me, suggesting I hadn't paid even though I showed her the charge on my phone. We exchanged several emails, but she never replied to our last one. Using her own invoice, we explained there that we'd overpaid.
