A quiet setting, clean rooms, and friendly hosts. Breakfast was good as well, and the hotel was good value for the money.

The hostess was friendly. We had a clean family room with a balcony and a beautiful view.

For a stopover at this price, it was perfectly fine. We were warmly welcomed at Liesertalerhof, in a quiet spot close to the motorway. The rooms aren’t modern, but they were mostly clean. The house smelled a little musty, maybe because of all the carpets, and all the stuffed animals around the house felt a bit creepy. We appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the hallway for guests. Breakfast was fair for the price: rolls, bread, cold cuts, cheese, jam, Nutella, yogurt, coffee, and orange juice.

The room was a little old-fashioned but very nice and clean, and the bathroom had been newly renovated. The location worked perfectly for us after a visit to the donkey park. Since we were the only guests, breakfast was served at the table, so I can’t say if it’s normally a buffet. It might be worth asking the day before whether anyone wants cheese or cold cuts. We don’t like those for breakfast, and it was a shame the food couldn’t, or shouldn’t, be used.

For our one-night stop while passing through, the room was clean and tidy, though things looked a bit outdated. Breakfast was generous and fine, and the stay was good value for money.
