After four visits, I can say this is a really classic hotel, and families are welcome, including small children. My kids love it. They’ve sometimes been loud and drawn a few classic looks from older guests, but the atmosphere is family friendly. The pool and spa are gorgeous and clean. Breakfast is amazing, with original local products I haven’t found at other five-star hotels in the area. The food is good, not perfect, but fair for the price. I’ve been four times and will come again.

I ate here with my boyfriend’s family and have questions about how this hotel is managed. The restaurant doesn’t deserve four stars, and the service was bad for a so-called four-star hotel and restaurant. My fish tasted poor, needed more seasoning, had far too many bones, and was very oily. It seemed to go straight onto the plate without resting at all. All our food arrived within just a few minutes, which made it obvious to me they were using frozen meat and fish and not preparing the food properly. When I told the servers, they didn’t even apologize. A zero-star restaurant. Grauenhaft! I could go on about the little details, but that would be too much.

We love coming back here, this was already our fourth visit. The atmosphere is lovely, the spa area is decent, and the food and service are good. Guided tours are included too.

The team made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and everyone was so friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and spacious, and the wellness area was a real treat, with several saunas, a peaceful lounge, and a fantastic pool where we could switch off completely. We also loved the food: a generous breakfast buffet and a delicious five-course dinner each evening. For relaxation, good meals, and a chance to recharge in the Tannheim Valley, this place has it all. I’ll definitely return and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
