Landhaus Schnettra

The apartment itself is lovely and clean, and the setting is beautiful. But the landlady made us uncomfortable. She checked things as soon as we arrived and seemed to be around whenever we passed her property, even watching what we did with our shoes. She wasn't welcoming, and I can't recommend spending a holiday in this house.

We arrived on September 12, 2025, and were immediately told to leave our shoes out of the hallway and take our rubbish away when we left. There was no TV remote, and some bulbs were broken or had been unscrewed. Although lifts are free in the Tannheimer Valley, that wasn't the case at this accommodation. When we raised our concerns, she asked us that evening to leave. This was the worst accommodation we've experienced. Anyone who books here has only themselves to blame. Sincerely

We'd planned a second visit for a ski holiday, but illness forced us to cancel. The cancellation itself was possible, though the hostess's emails about the fees were blunt and very unfriendly. We won't return. Our first stay had been good: the apartment was clean and well located, even if the hostess wasn't especially welcoming. We would have considered coming back based on that first vacation.

You feel secure here, with cameras on the balcony and the owners keeping a close eye on things. They also insist that the doors stay locked, saying nothing will be stolen. The location is good, though check-in only starts at 6 pm and check-out has to be by 10 am.
