We stayed for one night on the evening of September 27, 2025, and filmed the whole place when we arrived. We paid a €100 deposit. When we left on Sunday morning, we told them we had checked out and that the door wasn’t locked. They said it was fine because the cleaner would be there anyway. We then returned to our country. Two days later, the deposit was refunded. But on October 2, 2025, they charged €100 to our card again without asking. When I questioned it, they sent a photo of the bed headboard and claimed the wood had lifted. We said we hadn’t done that and sent our own photos and videos as evidence. The first two photos show that everything was intact when we left. The photo of the damage was the one they sent days later. After that, they charged another €300, saying the house couldn’t be rented for two days. That makes no sense. They had already returned our deposit, then charged a total of €400 days later for damage we didn’t cause. If we’d broken it, why refund the deposit at all? They could have told us on the day we checked out. Who knows who broke it in the meantime, but they billed us. We didn’t damage anything, and we sent proof. They still took the money after returning the deposit and letting time pass. It felt totally unfair and dishonest. Don’t trust them. I’ll also post a Google review with photos and file a complaint with the Austrian consumer protection authorities.

The sheets were missing, and the apartment we got was too small. We’d booked for six people but were given a place for four. Other things were okay, but I wouldn’t recommend booking here.

The apartment had basic cooking utensils and the Wi-Fi was okay. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the temperature was pleasant. There’s underfloor heating, plus an electric stove you can use for extra warmth, though we didn’t need it. A shelf for shampoo in the shower would be useful. We did have to wait outside for the entry code to arrive by email, which wasn’t pleasant after travelling.

The apartment is spacious and has a lovely terrace, with a well-equipped kitchen. It’s in a quiet, clean new apartment block, easy to reach and close to the city centre. Parking in a garage on a street about 200 metres away is included and worked perfectly. The host’s instructions were clear and helpful. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work.

After travelling 12 hours from Bulgaria to Austria for our holiday, we arrived at the property we’d reserved and found that our booking had been abruptly cancelled. They stopped answering the phone and ghosted us, leaving us with nowhere to stay. They then advertised the apartment again for four times the price. We had booked four nights in February for June 26-30. The way they treated paying customers showed no regard or compassion at all. Utterly disgusting behaviour.
