The apartment was spacious and clean, with a fantastic view over the grossarl valley. The host family were very friendly and helpful, including with our special needs. It’s a peaceful spot on the mountainside, about 300 m above town and away from the bustle. Getting there can be a challenge: the road is steep and winding, so always bring snow chains. We needed them even in late March. One thing to keep in mind is that the blue apartment may not suit more than two people, since the bathroom opens off the bedroom rather than the living area.
