Haus Annerl is a beautiful place and a paradise for families with children. It's only a five-minute walk to Lake Grundlsee, where you can swim year-round. Even on cooler days, the water is a comfortable 26°C. There's no through traffic, so it's peaceful, and the fresh forest air is unique. Across from Haus Annerl are guesthouses, and Haus Annerl itself offers lovely rooms to rent. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with regional specialties. Michi and Franz, the family who run the place, are incredibly friendly and helpful. They make you feel like part of the family. It's a great base for hikes and scenic excursions nearby. We visited in 2024 and are going back again this year. It definitely won't be our last visit. Without exaggerating, I'd highly recommend Haus Annerl.

Our daughters felt just as welcome as we did at Haus Annerl on Lake Grundlsee. The hostess was wonderfully warm, and the whole stay felt effortless. We had a lovely few days and would happily return. The value for money is hard to beat.

Lake Toplitz is an easy 15-20 minute walk, and the car can stay parked while you head out on nearby hikes. The apartment is in the middle of a peaceful little village, with a big balcony, seating, and mountain views. Inside, there’s plenty of room, a well-planned dining and living area, and a kitchen with everything you might need and then some. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. We got a friendly, easygoing welcome too. I really liked it! 👍
