Pension Ladner

Ten days in this beautiful area just didn't feel like enough. We came home with so many lovely memories and impressions. The view over Lake Grundlsee from the location is stunning, and the Grill family did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. They certainly succeeded. Thank you!

The quiet and the beautiful view were such a pleasure, along with the excellent care from Mr. and Mrs. Grill. We especially appreciated the anniversary surprise at breakfast: a card, a glass of sparkling wine, and a cake. We enjoyed eating in the historic Archduke Johann Room, and Mr. Grill's accounts of the Ladner house's history were both interesting and funny. My husband and I stayed a week in mid-May. Mr. Andreas Grill welcomed us warmly, and our spacious ground-floor rooms had a living room, bedroom, and large bathroom with shower and toilet. They were spotlessly clean, wood-furnished, and lovingly decorated. Breakfast was generous, and we could always ask for more. Mr. Grill cooked delicious dinners every evening except their Wednesday day off, including a wonderful Arctic char. The guesthouse is right by Lake Grundlsee, with just a road between it and the water.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Pension Ladner. The owners are very friendly, and it was easy to chat with the other guests. Everything in the rooms was very clean. Breakfast and dinner were both generous and tasty, and there's a bus stop right across from the building.

The natural setting is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the beds are fantastic. We had delicious food and perfect service. The owner and his wife do everything they can to make guests happy. Thank you so much.
