This family hotel has been run by the same family for six generations, and it really has a homey feel. The young owner was so helpful, including with suggestions for a bike tour. Everything was clean and cozy. We had a lovely stay and will be back. :-)

The dog hair on the breakfast room sofa and table was really disgusting, especially while trying to eat breakfast. The Wi-Fi was so slow that logging in and getting work done was difficult. I booked a triple room but was given a double with a folding chair. About the hotel’s reply: my confirmation said one triple room with bath or shower, WC, TV, radio, Wi-Fi, and buffet breakfast. How was I supposed to know that meant a double room with an extra folding chair? And why should I have to ask for faster Wi-Fi? If it only takes one click, as you said, it should be done for every guest. This wasn’t my first stay. The previous visit was fine, so I used to be a regular, but you’ve lost me as a guest. The main issue still hasn’t been addressed: dog hair on the sofa and table where people eat breakfast.

The breakfast was tasty, and the rooms were clean and cozy. We really liked the family feel of this hotel in the centre of Gumpoldskirchen. I can recommend it wholeheartedly, and we’ll come back in summer! Fam. Lewandowski & Springer
