Hotel Landhaus Moserhof

I can't work out why this hotel doesn't always get five-star reviews. The rooms and location are great, and the staff deserve six stars if I could give them that. There's also a lovely garden with a pool and a sauna area where you can relax. Highly recommended!

What made the stay feel so good was how the whole team, mostly family, looked after us. It felt like coming home, so thanks to the Moserhof team for four perfect days during our holiday. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, comfortable, attractive rooms, and an even nicer garden with a heated pool. It's in a small village between vineyards and beautiful scenery, about 30km from Vienna.

We stayed for our company's off-site and had a great time. Everything was clean, tidy, and nicely designed and maintained. The staff were hospitable, helpful, polite, and spoke English well. Special thanks to Lilly for getting the sauna going for us at 6:00 AM.

A warning to anyone booking here: a confirmation may not mean your reservation will be honored. My family and friends booked four rooms for three to four nights for a weekend in August 2019, with three bookings made directly and one through Expedia. Everyone received confirmation. Nine days later, after they'd booked flights to celebrate our wedding with us, they all got an email saying a booking system mistake meant the hotel was actually full for the Saturday night of their stay. After looking into it and speaking with the owner, we learned he admitted there hadn't been a mistake. He'd chosen to give the rooms to new guests attending a wedding there, even though my family and friends had booked first. He called it a business decision and said he could cancel the rooms up to 30 days before the stay. The first emails offered no alternative hotels, and by then many rooms in town were sold out for that weekend. It was a very upsetting start to our happy celebration. This man doesn't deserve your business. Be warned.
