Tameggerhof

This farm is right at the edge of the woods, with 1000+ metre hills and mountains to explore and hardly anyone around, perhaps just forest workers. We loved the simple fun of swimming in the small natural lake or taking out the 1970's style pedal boats. Each log cabin feels natural and fits the surroundings, with a wood burner inside and an outdoor fireplace for a barbecue or a fire under a sky full of stars. You won't miss a TV. The main house has a wellness center with several kinds of sauna and a relaxation area. The people running the place are friendly and leave you to yourself, but are happy to chat and speak English if needed. Since it's a farm, fresh eggs and bread were available each day.

A little rain didn't spoil a very pleasant, enjoyable stay. The hosts were especially kind and accommodating, and breakfast was plentiful. We had a few small issues, but they were sorted out quickly. Everyone enjoyed the visit and we'd happily stay again. Thanks for such a relaxing, pleasant time.

Wonderful peace and quiet, with nature all around. There are a lake, a pool, and various animals, plus plenty of options for hiking and keeping children busy. A great place to relax, highly recommended.

We came for three nights for the Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. The property is lovely and welcoming, and Mrs. Elisabeth was extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was generous, freshly prepared, and made with delicious fresh ingredients. The garden and pool are both beautiful.
