Appartement Hauser

Zillertal is great for an active holiday, and this was simply the best place to stay. The Duo apartment was stylish, modern, fresh, and spacious, with lovely views and friendly owners.

The hosts are folk music stars, yet so down to earth, warm, and helpful. That kindness is rare. Thanks again, and we’d love to come back. We’d wanted to stay here for ages, but it’s always booked, and now we understand why. The huge attic apartment is spacious in every way, with beautifully designed ceilings and no sloping ceilings. There’s a big bedroom with a huge wardrobe, plus a gigantic bathroom with an extra-large tub and a shower. In the hallway, a fireplace heats the living room’s tiled stove. The living area has a great bed right in front of an extra-large screen, which was perfect for movie nights with the kids. The bar-style kitchen has everything you need, as well as a corner bench and chairs that fit more than four people. It’s comfortable for eating and reading, especially in winter with your back against the warm tiled stove. Bright windows on both sides and balconies give you great views of the mountains and valley in every direction. There’s also a large courtyard where an SUV can be parked easily, unlike the cramped spaces you often find elsewhere.

We spent our wedding anniversary at the Duo Apartment Hauser and were delighted. Tanja made a great impression even before we booked, and the photos are accurate. The location works well for skiing and summer mountain activities, with a fantastic view. We loved the design, cleanliness, clever layout, and sauna. One small thing could be improved: the sauna door could seal better. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and we’d love to return in winter. Thanks so much for everything.
