Mary was so friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed at Apartment "Marie" during the busy Christmas period, and the price still felt very reasonable. It’s a handy place for anyone driving, right by a fuel station and bistro, and only a 6-10 minute walk from the lake. The apartment has a dishwasher and coffee machine, which made it easy to prepare a few meals. Highly recommended!

The apartment is modern and has everything you need, but the 20-minute walk to the pier means taxis both ways add to the cost. I couldn’t find a bicycle rental in Hallstatt, though there is one in Obertraun. I’d suggest renting an apartment and bikes there for seeing Hallstatt. Things here are very expensive, and the restaurant food was below average.

Warm, clean, and nice place to stay, about a 12-15 minute walk from the center of Hallstatt.

Thanks again, Marie. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the private parking spot was perfect. It’s an easy five-minute walk to the center, while the place itself is a nice escape from the noise and crowds.

The room was clean and had very new equipment, and the owner was really kind. It’s a little way from downtown, but once we got back to the room, it felt worth it. Staying here made our Hallstatt trip even better.
