We spent a week in this beautiful apartment, and the host was kind and helpful. There are plenty of places to go since you're in Austria but close to Italy and Slovenia. We visited Lake Bled in Slovenia, Weissensee, and Udine in Italy, and spent time on the beach at Presseggersee.

We loved having meals on the terrace. Sometimes deer would watch us from a distance. The property sits among greenery in a tiny hamlet of 5-6 houses, so it's a place for absolute peace and quiet, not nightlife. Our daughters could play safely out in the countryside because hardly any cars passed by. The house is huge, with three large bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a living room. The owner was kind and always available, though communicating was difficult because her English is limited. The nearest supermarket is 3 km away, and there are lakes and other attractions to visit nearby.

It was filthy, so bring plenty of detergent and disinfectant if you're staying in this palace. There were attics everywhere, mice were the only thing missing, and there's carpet in the kitchen and a shower in the bedroom. Truly indescribable. I'll post some photos to show what I mean.

You'll need a car to get around, since it's a bit out of the way. The house is wooden and has a somewhat dated style. The landlady is friendly, though, and the price is reasonable.
