Gartnerkofel

We spent a week at this fabulous family hotel in Nassfeld and couldn’t fault the place. The food was excellent, and the staff and service were fantastic, beyond what we expected. Martin and Anneliese were brilliant hosts. Special thanks to Levi and Daniel for helping the kids climb. The hotel has just added a beautiful dining extension, and it sounds like more renovations are planned. We’re teaching our kids German so they can use the kids club next time. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The hotel was spotless, the rooms were nice, and the location was great. But the real stars are the owners and their staff. They really know how to make a holiday great.

We had a great family ski holiday here. The place is set up with families’ comfort and enjoyment in mind, especially for kids. The location and room view were great, and the food was amazing, with quality local products and plenty of variety. The staff were friendly, and the kids’ area is a dream for children. There’s also a comfortable, roomy ski wardrobe. We were assigned a restaurant table for the family to use at both breakfast and dinner, which meant we never had to look around for a spot. We spent most of each day skiing and couldn’t try all the amenities or the animation programme, but it’s great that the hotel offers them. We rarely return to the same hotel, but we’ll definitely visit again. I’m sure it’s great in summer too.

The owners are easy to talk to, the service is great, and the food is top notch. Kids have a paradise here, while adults can unwind in the wellness area or work out in the fitness room. We’ve spent winter holidays at different hotels across the Alps for over 20 years, several times each season, and Gartnerkofel is in a class of its own. In summer, you can swim in Pressenger See, where the hotel has its own little place serving food and drinks. There’s also archery, pig washing, mountain hiking, and free use of the cable lifts. Remember to ask for your card at reception.
