Gästehaus Seewinkel

The Wi-Fi was bad.

The apartments are peaceful, cozy, and clean, with lovely surroundings. What keeps drawing us back, though, is how much the hosts feel like family now. My dad came here as a child, and I’ve thought of the guesthouse as a second home for years. For the last four years my partner and his son have joined me, and they feel at home too. We often bring my brother's dog, who’s welcomed warmly, and there’s a resident dog as well. Every visit leaves us with lovely memories, and parting is always hard. We’ll keep coming back.

The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We spent a week there in September, and the Warmuth family made us feel welcome right away with their friendly, helpful manner. Seewinkel guesthouse is in a peaceful, idyllic spot that’s great for relaxing and enjoying nature. We’d gladly recommend it.

The guest cards were a real plus, with free swimming at nearby Pressegger See and free train rides, including to Villach. We stayed at Seewinkel for two weeks in September 2025. The holiday apartments are sensibly laid out and reasonably priced, and the host family always makes an effort to help guests. You can also charge an electric vehicle on request for a fair price. We wish the hosts good health and happiness.
