The lake view from the balcony was amazing. Our room was clean and well maintained, with a bathroom, mini kitchen, good water pressure and a wardrobe. Check-in and check-out were easy. It's peaceful and quiet, and a great base for walks and excursions. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

Tina and Florian were lovely hosts throughout, really nice and helpful with arranging the booking. They shared information about the village and helped organize a taxi to Villach. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our stopover. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks, and see you again someday.

That huge balcony and its million-dollar view were the highlight for us. The spacious room also had a small kitchenette, and the compact bathroom was well kept with a nice shower. Though the room wasn't brand new, it was very clean and smelled fresh. For one night, the fair price made it great value for the money. A comfortable budget option in the area, and we'd happily stay again.

I don't recommend this place for skiing. The repeated heating and hot water problems made the stay very difficult, and the accommodation provider did not look for more suitable solutions for guests. The heating was controlled by the host, so we couldn't adjust it in the room. Its thermostat was too close to the electric heating panel to show an accurate temperature, and the heating was switched off at night. The heating unit was loose, and the wall socket protruded in a way that concerned me from a contact protection point of view. One day the hot water went out in our house as well. The host took no action, perhaps they couldn't, but after I reported it they did not want to offer a fair refund. It was a huge inconvenience. I was the only one in my family who took a cold shower in January, and maybe I shouldn't have. I never met the host and wasn't satisfied with the online contact. I found it strange to receive the access code on WhatsApp at my phone number, since the host didn't use the official channel at that time. I can blame myself and my inattention for the other small things, but it's worth knowing that the “equipped kitchen” had no microwave, toaster or oven tray. We had to ask for a new pan instead of the frying pan, which was more suitable for an induction hob. There were three of us and only three large forks, which was fine, but not very convenient for anyone wanting to use the kitchen. Small things like these can matter for comfort. There is no ski boot dryer, and with the room heating off overnight, our boots weren't dry by morning. We had to use a hairdryer. If the heating had stayed on, perhaps this wouldn't have been a problem. I've traveled and booked accommodation in Austria for a long time and never encountered these difficulties. Maybe my earlier good experiences made me too trusting, since everywhere else in Austria we were warmly welcomed. These are my honest opinions and experiences.
