The staff were every bit as excellent as the hotel itself. Visillies in the bar especially made the trip for me and my group. His service went well beyond what I expected.

The location was perfect, and the room was comfortable and clean. Check-in went smoothly, the amenities were good, and the friendly, professional staff exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the breakfast, pool, and restaurant, and the customer service stood out. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d happily come back and recommend it.

The spa was peaceful, with two pools, a jacuzzi, and enough room for everyone to relax. The whole hotel was quiet too, though maybe we just didn’t have neighbors. Being adults-only made it easy to rest without making the stay boring. We’d booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade on arrival. Since we had our dog, the staff offered us a choice between dining in the restaurant or lobby bar, where dogs were allowed. We had breakfast in the lobby and dinner in the restaurant. Each of us also received a vacation card for activities like the lift, rafting, and museums, some free and others discounted. The room had a huge shower and really nice toiletries, even lip balm. The toilet was in a separate room from the washroom, which is a plus if you’re the woman in a straight couple. The first minibar fill was free, and they left a bowl and treats for our dog. Breakfast had three kinds of eggs you could order, plus cheese, salami, muesli, fruit, baked goods, jams, and very crispy bacon. Dinner was five courses, with a choice of soups and main dishes. The food was top notch. I still think about the lamb and the mango and chili sorbet that made my mouth feel hot and cold at the same time. We had the same table in the restaurant each time, which was really nice. And the staff were lovely throughout, from reception to the bar and restaurant. They were professional and attentive, clearly loved dogs, and offered us bottled water whenever we headed out hiking or on a trip. It was such a lovely experience, and I can’t wait to return. Going back home from five-course dinners to asking “what’s for dinner?” really sucks.
