We had a great stay and would return. The house was clean, spacious, well equipped, and everything we needed was there to a high standard. There were seven of us, with large bedrooms and several bathrooms, so we had plenty of room. The living area and sofa aren't huge, but we mostly gathered around the kitchen and dining area anyway. We especially appreciated the sauna and coffee machine. Contact with the owner was easy, check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the midweek towel change was a nice extra. The house is a little outside the village, but the 10-minute walk to the lift was manageable. We left our skis overnight at a ski shop by the lifts, which made things easier. The supermarket next door was convenient, and there's also a ski bus stop there. Good value for money.

We were seven adults, a family group, and spent a week skiing in February 2019. The location is my only hesitation about this beautiful house. It's a roughly 10-minute walk to the main ski lifts, which can be hard with ski gear, especially for younger children. A bus stop beside the Billa supermarket has buses every 20 minutes, but the bus only goes to the Schattbergbahn lift. A taxi is another option if carrying skis is a concern, at about Euro15 for a single trip. Many houses in Saalbach are farther from the town centre than Ferienhaus Pitterle, though the town is spread out and walking is part of the stay for most visitors. The house itself is modern, peaceful, and very comfortable, with everything we needed. Bedrooms are a good size. There are two bathrooms upstairs, plus a downstairs toilet, a sink in the bedroom, and a shower in the sauna, which effectively gives you a third bathroom. The bathrooms are spacious and modern, with showers but no baths. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and we liked the decorations and pictures. After skiing, we especially enjoyed the wood-burning stove and large sauna. The fresh coffee machine was popular too. The well-stocked Billa supermarket is just a few minutes away on foot. It opens early and sells freshly baked bread. We'd be very happy to come back.

Surprised there are so few reviews for such a good apartment. We stayed in summer, and the location was perfect, with Reiterkogelbahn on one side and the family park on the other. Everything we needed was there, it was clean, and the people were nice. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the house had everything we needed. It’s a short walk to three ski lifts, about 15 minutes, with a supermarket just a few minutes away. The four bedrooms are spacious, and the wood stove makes the place feel cozy.
