8/10
In summer, the location is really handy, with three lifts within walking distance and a bus stop close by. This family-run hotel is very clean and well looked after, and the spa is nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet isn't huge, but there was plenty for a proper start to the day. Half board includes breakfast, a lunch package, coffee and cake on most days, plus dinner; drinks cost extra. Dinner was good quality and the portions were generous. There's no playground or activities for little kids.

The rooms got too warm at night, and I wonder if the bedding might be synthetic. The location was great, though. Dinner had fewer vegetarian choices than I would have liked.

You can reach the ski slopes in just a few steps from the Alpenblick chalets, which are right beside the hotel. It's a newly built apartment building with all the amenities.

The food was okay, but charging extra for more sauce felt like too much when the meal was already expensive.

It's a nice, quiet hotel, and the breakfast buffet is really big.
