Fleischerei - Apartments, Cafe & Weinbar

A perfect spot for coffee and cake, with an interesting design and a really friendly feel. They also sell some nice souvenirs inside. The coffee was excellent, and I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed in the penthouse as a family of five with a friend from the UK, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The view down the main street to the mountains was lovely. Fleischerei is right in the heart of Hinterstoder, and the apartments are beautifully furnished with everything you need in the kitchen. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can eat and have wine downstairs, or take a short stroll to another cafe. It’s priceless how easily the little ones can walk to the ski lift in their boots. We’ll be back as soon as we can to enjoy Summer in Hinterstoder and the care and service at Fleischerei.

We came from Brisbane, Australia, and the welcome at Fleischerei made us feel like part of the family. Our family of five had a special time together in Hinterstoder. The accommodation was modern, clean, and had everything close at hand, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On cold nights, it was easy to unwind at the cafe and wine bar in the building while the kids warmed up in the apartment after a day on the slopes. I’d recommend Fleischerei to anyone looking for a ski stay, somewhere to walk the beautiful hills and trails of Hinterstoder, or a base for short trips around Austria and southern Germany.

The cafe and wine bar downstairs was amazing, and both the gondola lift and food shop were only a two-minute walk away. The apartment was modern, stylish, cozy, and very spacious, with brand-new, high-quality fittings that had clearly been carefully thought through. Our four-person apartment had two bedrooms, one double and one twin, plus a big living room. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nicely equipped, and the bathroom was stylish. The only drawback was the weak Wi-Fi signal in the room, though we stayed in March 2016, so maybe that’s been fixed by now. We’d love to come back with a bigger group and enjoy the accommodation and location even more!
