We booked spontaneously and were welcomed warmly, and our dog was welcome too. The location is fantastic, quiet and relaxing, and the price was truly great for what you get. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the service was excellent, and any issues were sorted out quickly and easily. We were completely satisfied and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was plentiful, nicely presented, and enough for us, though an 8:00 a.m. start is late for skiers hoping to be first on the slopes. We woke shortly after 6 every day because we could hear staff getting breakfast ready through the poorly sealed door. Noise was a big problem throughout our stay: guests shouted around the house or talked in the hallway outside our room, and staff chatted constantly from midday into the evening. Our room was the first one off the hallway by the kitchen, with the other rooms upstairs. The door had huge gaps, so sound and light came straight through. The house is lovely from the outside and in a great location, with some renovations inside, but the work felt superficial and there's plenty of potential for improvement. The bedroom heating couldn't be switched on or off; after we mentioned it, it was left at half power. There was mold on the window seals and on the otherwise nicely renovated bathroom window. Kitchen utensils were only cleaned sporadically, and some, including the frying pan, were unusable. The room was cleaned periodically, with rubbish taken out and towels changed. The owner was very friendly and spoke good German. We and one other family were the only German guests; everyone else, including the staff, was from the Czech Republic. That wasn't a problem in itself. In the end, the stay was okay, but we won't return because it wasn't relaxing for us.

Simple, cozy, friendly, and just right for us. The owners were very friendly, the place was clean, and breakfast was excellent at about €9 extra. They also arranged ski passes at the group rate. I'd definitely come back and recommend it.
