The apartments are top-notch, with quality furnishings and equipment and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The spa was relaxing and well organized, with nothing missing, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On my first visit in summer, the surroundings were stunning; this second stay was just as good. Breakfast had been a letdown the first time because some items ran out, but this visit it was all managed perfectly and I didn’t miss anything. We’ll definitely come back.

The adult-only spa hours from 6-9pm are a great touch, and the superior suite was top-notch. It’s a very decent resort in a wonderful location. With a bit more attention from management to the food and beverage outlets, this could be a one-of-a-kind place to stay.

Christena from the restaurant team deserves a special thank you for my outstanding chalet stay. She’s hardworking and thoughtful, and her passion for the job comes through in the care she puts into giving guests a great experience. People like her make a place stand out.

The location is the one category that truly deserves five stars. In my experience, even by Austrian standards, it’s special to be right on the slopes in a ski area while staying somewhere that also caters to wellness guests and families, including people who don’t ski. The triangular chalets are a distinctive idea, and both the breakfast buffet and dinner menu were decent. The chalet itself was much less comfortable than the photos suggest. At least the “classic” chalet is quite small, especially the bathroom, toilet, and shower area, which is tiny and uncomfortable. There’s supposedly a sauna in the chalet, but it’s basically a little wooden bench behind the shower. I can’t imagine choosing it over the proper sauna in the hotel spa. It seems impractical, takes space from an already cramped shower area, and feels like a way to charge more by advertising a sauna. Removing the chalet saunas and expanding the shower space would make more sense. The bathroom felt more like one in a hostel or motel than in a hotel, let alone the wellness boutique hotel they claim to be. At the price they charge for the chalet, that’s insane. Service also needs work. During our multi-day stay there was no room cleaning and no fresh sheets or bed-making, which I found unacceptable for this kind of hotel and more suited to a hostel or motel. Their social media is misleading at best. We stayed in mid-December after two dry weeks. There was snow mostly on the slopes, while the hotel grounds were bare except for a few icy patches. That’s just nature, and the slopes and hotel are still beautiful, so I have no complaint about the weather. But they keep reposting guests’ Instagram stories that are three weeks old, without making the dates clear. You could see posts showing the whole hotel covered in snow and not know they were old, even though the grounds might have been snow-free for three weeks. Why mislead people? The real scenery is beautiful enough. This behavior could really disappoint guests, and it’s a pity.
