Villa Romantica Appartement

We had a great stay at Villa Romantica in Mayrhofen, and might come back sometime. The rooms were clean and attractive, with a modern look and wooden details, and the owners were lovely. From the balcony, the view was beautiful and completely open, with a grassy field in front and no buildings in the way. The apartment is near the village center, between the Penkenbahn and the Ahornbahn. Greetings from the Netherlands! 🇳🇱🇳🇱

We had a lovely Christmas holiday, with great snow, a fantastic time for the children at ski school (we always use SMT), and a wonderful Christmas. The top-floor apartment was spacious, spotless, and well equipped, with free wifi that came in handy for all our devices. Elisabeth and Stefan were welcoming and hospitable, especially with the kids. They live in part of the house, but the apartments feel very private; they were also easy to ask for help or advice. The location is peaceful, with great mountain and town views, while still just minutes from the main town area, supermarket, ice rink, launderette, swimming pool, advent festival in the woods, cafes, restaurants, and shops. Both the Penken Gondola lift and Ahorn Lift are a short walk away, and the ski bus stops nearby too. We drove from the UK this time, though we've also flown to Innsbruck airport and taken a transfer to Mayrhofen. There's a train station in town as well, and you can manage without a car since the amenities and services are walkable. We'd happily recommend Villa Romantica.

This was another visit to a tucked-away gem. The apartment makes a great base, less than a five-minute walk from town and its shops, as well as the Penken lift. It has lovely decor, a new modern bathroom, and two balconies with beautiful views of the area. Elisabeth and Stefan are wonderful hosts, and we'd gladly recommend staying here.

The owners live downstairs and were very friendly. The apartment was well equipped, including the kitchen, and had everything we needed. Its location is handy too, close to the center and the Penkenbahn for getting up to the ski area. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it.
