Gut Stiluppe - Good Life Hotel

The staff made this stay. Reception and restaurant teams were professional, always smiling, and ready to help. At breakfast, the waiters even remembered our usual orders and how we like our coffee. The spread was high quality, with plenty of cheese, cold cuts, and bread, plus fresh eggs and other items you could order at no extra cost. The spa is huge, with several pools, saunas, and a large pressurized jacuzzi. The outdoor heated pool was closed while we were there, which made sense with night temperatures of -17°C. The jacuzzi was great, though a little more heat in the water would've made it perfect. There's also an adults-only sauna where the local custom is to go without clothes, worth knowing if that's unfamiliar to you. Our room had everything we needed, including a kettle with tea and coffee, and a large balcony with breathtaking mountain and valley views. The ski room was especially handy, organized and secure with room-card access, plus heated racks for boots and gloves. Free guest parking was a big plus, and the ski bus stop was just a few minutes on foot. The hotel sits on the main road leading straight to the center of Mayrhofen. For what it costs, it felt like incredible value compared with other hotels in the valley, without losing quality or service. We enjoyed the whole stay and will be back. If you're visiting the Zillertal valley, I'd highly recommend it.

We had two lovely, clean rooms, one suite and one with a balcony, and both the indoor and outdoor pools were warm. The spa was clean, and staff even brought drinks from the bar over to the pool area. The property is beautiful, the meals were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay this past week. Traveling with kids? I can't think of a better place. We had a great time and hope we're lucky enough to come back soon. Thank you all!

The best part was the service. The workers were always smiling and ready to help. We stayed in the suite, which was very convenient in its design and had all the useful extras. Breakfast was good, and the staff did a great job making sure guests knew where their seats were. There are lots of facilities, and the spa is great, though it felt a bit isolated and a little far when going between the spa and jacuzzi. The main downside for evenings is the distance from the main street. It does mean things are quiet, especially with kids.
