After a long day skiing, the sauna was a great place to unwind. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was good. There’s also a common area where you can sit with a drink or food. You can buy drinks from the fridge and bring your own food. A great place to stay for a ski trip.

Our room was roomier than we expected, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, a great place to rest after the mountain. Breakfast had a huge selection and was high quality, and the hospitality really stood out. The ski room made sorting our gear easy, and the location is hard to beat, just a short walk from the Penkenbahn gondola. We can’t recommend Hotel Waldheim enough for a visit to Mayrhofen.

We’d gladly return to Hotel Waldheim. The spa area, with its dry and wet saunas, was fantastic, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and very professional throughout. The breakfast had lots of variety and high-quality products. It’s also an incredibly convenient spot, just a 3-minute walk from the main Penkenbahn gondola.

It’s a quiet, clean hotel with a fabulous location for a ski holiday. It feels a little old for a four-star place, but overall it was peaceful.

The ski room was easy to use, and the numbered boot warmers were a welcome touch. There’s a nice spa with a sauna, steam room, and infra-red sauna, plus an honesty bar if you’d rather stay in for the evening. Breakfast was tasty, with a good choice of options. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. Our clean bedroom was a good size, and the bathroom was nice, though there wasn’t a bath. It’s a superb spot for the main lifts and central town, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. It’s bed and breakfast only.
