The location is nice and the staff are friendly, but the buffet wasn't OK.
The hotel feels dated, and you can see it in the furnishings. The TV is old and often cuts out. The staff seemed to have trouble understanding German, or perhaps didn't speak it at all. On the first day our bed wasn't made, and the next day the room hadn't been cleaned because the green “please tidy up” card wasn't on the door.
We booked an all-inclusive room, but it was dark and dreary, with a short bed and a mattress full of buttons that dug into you. There was no furniture on the balcony, and the railing was rotten. We had to ask for cleaning, toilet paper, and fresh towels. Getting the free Wild Wonder card took several days, and I finally had to sit down and refuse to move until I got it. The pool was out of order, the gym was locked, and the television was broken. Food was late and there wasn't enough for everyone. We didn't get things we asked for, like milk, and the host couple didn't understand German or English well. We weren't allowed to sit in the à la carte restaurant, but there was nowhere else to sit, just a little soft. I could go on and on.
The food was very good, and the service was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a standard hotel spread, with scrambled eggs, sausages, salami, cheese, yogurt, and so on. The rooms are nice and hotel-style. My bathroom was a little small and older, though I saw two other rooms with bigger, newer bathrooms, so I guess mine will probably be replaced soon. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.
