Haus Jakober

Our family has been coming to Lake Weissensee for 38 years, across three generations, and Haus Jakober is where we always stay. The apartments are lovingly decorated and have everything we need. It's simply our perfect holiday spot.

The Knaller family are very friendly and look after guests personally. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with high-quality regional products, some from their own farm. There's a huge beach right beside the house, and the setting is a dream for families and children. A perfect holiday at Lake Weissensee. We'd love to return... 👍💯💥🍀🌞

I find it strange that this hotel so often gets 5 stars. We had dogs with us, as stated in our booking, but the welcome was brief and curt. Nobody explained where things were or how to use the loungers on the lawn. The rooms were OK, but uncomfortable, and although the description mentions a washing machine, I couldn't find one. Breakfast was rather boring, no better than what you can get at Aldi in Austria. What really bothered me was that the landlady came into our holiday apartment every day while we were out, without asking. I think that's absolutely terrible behavior. We left two days early, which we don't usually do, and then received the outstanding bill again. Luckily, online banking let me prove we'd paid well in advance. I'm still giving 2 stars because there's a lot on offer for regular guests. I'm not one, and never will be.

The views from apartments 3 and 4 were incredible. The apartment was very clean and family-friendly, and the host family were lovely. We had a wonderful stay, and the weather was perfect 😇😊.
