Elsenhof

A place where you can breathe deeply and feel at ease. We’d love to return. Every day the view across the Defereggen Valley took our breath away, and our hosts made us feel welcome right away. The welcome basket and Sunday cake were lovely surprises. The apartment was cozy, with lots of wood, a modern bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed, including the chance to buy fresh farm produce. Our children especially loved the animals, playground, and sandbox.

Another wonderful week at the Elsenhof. We relaxed in the Almblick apartment, enjoyed our time there, and watched the cows in the barn. We also went skiing nearby at St. Jakob. From the start we felt at home, greeted with coffee and cake, and given fresh milk and rolls. Thank you again!

The alpine pasture outing will stay with us for a long time. Hildegard and Anton organize it for all their guests, with delicious Schlipfkrapfen, cake, and drinks. We’re grateful for a fantastic two weeks and would love to come back! We felt welcome and lovingly looked after throughout. The apartment was lovely, very clean, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of brochures, local information, and hiking and cycling or mountain biking guides, as well as a children’s book library our son loved. Hildegard and Anton were always glad to answer questions and help, and worked hard to make sure guests had a pleasant, memorable stay.

My adult daughter and I were welcomed so warmly. The drive up was quite a challenge, but worth every drop of sweat for the spectacular view at the top. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortably furnished, with lots of windows and lovely natural light. We were only passing through this time, but will definitely return. Thank you for the kind hospitality!
