We’ve been coming here for generations, and this truly unique, wonderful hotel still stays with me. Winter means skiing and then a sauna; in summer, it’s beautiful walks followed by a swim in their fantastic nature pool. It’s incredibly comfortable, and the food is delicious home cooking. The family who run this place are wonderful 😊 many greetings Lederer! :)

Being so close to the ski slopes is a real plus. The place has a great atmosphere, the food and service were lovely, and greetings to Sisu and Akos!

The staff were very helpful, and the host was nice enough, though his manner was quite peculiar. Still, after three nights, the stay felt like a disaster. The photos gave a misleading impression of both the rooms and the food, which was okay but more like cafeteria fare. I can’t explain the exorbitant price when Großarl has much better and cheaper places to stay. We spoke to several Dutch guests who felt the same way. There are so many quality accommodations in the area, so I’d steer clear.

The location in the mountaineering village is beautiful, and the hotel has what you need to relax. The food is varied, regional and down-to-earth, all made with care. Hospitality here feels genuine: you’re treated with empathy and respect and become part of a close-knit community. The staff are helpful and appreciative without hovering. Lots of returning guests back up our positive experience. Thanks to the hosts, we’ll be back!
