Sekt & Wein - Walter Klein

The Klein family gave us such a hospitable welcome, and we were completely satisfied with our stay. We spent a week here, renting two holiday apartments as a base to explore Burgenland. They were clean and quiet, and the location was ideal. Thanks for a relaxing week!

We rented the Rose holiday apartment for 11 days and were very happy with it. The beds were just right, neither too soft nor too firm, and there were plenty of spare blankets, bedspreads, and pillows. The hosts were thoughtful and always ready to help. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and facilities for sorting rubbish. There’s air conditioning for the hot months. We didn’t use the pool because the weather was simply too cold. The garden has several places to unwind, including a pavilion, barbecue area, hammock, and scattered seating. Bikes were available, though we didn’t need them. Our car and bikes could be stored safely in the large hall. All in all, a great apartment, well located for the nearest bike path.

We’ll definitely come back. The location was perfect, the pool lovely, and we could borrow bikes for free. The family running the house were so kind and accommodating, and even gave us a delicious homemade cake. Everything was very clean. The modern apartment had all we needed, including a brand-new kitchen, dishwasher, and good stove. Their homemade wine was excellent too. What more could you ask for?

There are plenty of places to sit in the garden, at any of the tables, whether for breakfast or to relax in the evening. The grounds were very clean and lovingly kept, with lots of plants and a large heated pool. Our apartment was spacious, modern, and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped with things like a microwave, fully automatic coffee machine, and dishwasher. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the owner led an interesting wine tasting. Prices seemed reasonable for what you get. There are bike tours and various places to visit nearby, and a trip to Hungary is worthwhile too. We had such a beautiful, relaxing stay and will be back next year!
