The location and views were stunning, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was spotless, with a lovely mix of rustic and modern style. The standout for the kids was the big handcrafted bunk bed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Our eldest especially loved the playroom, feeding the goats every day, and collecting eggs. We’ll definitely be back! :)

The Kahr family were incredibly kind and friendly. They took time to answer questions, suggest excursions and chat with us, and the children really did feel welcome. The hosts are flexible, too, which added a lot to our stay at the Ramsbergerhof. Our apartments were traditional and stylish, cozy and spotlessly clean, just right for relaxing. From our balcony we had a breathtaking view of the Dachstein. The location was superb, and the amenities were just as good as described on the website. The pony rides were a highlight for the kids. We ate wonderfully throughout our stay. Breakfast had everything we could want, and dinner was a treat every day. Huge compliments to the kitchen. We had a fantastic holiday at the Ramsbergerhof in Styria this year. Absolutely fantastic, and a definite recommendation for a relaxing break in Styria, especially with children. The Kahr family were wonderfully welcoming, answering every question and offering ideas for excursions. They were especially caring with the children, and their flexibility in all areas made the stay at Ramsbergerhof even better. The stars are well deserved, from the fantastic location and beautiful apartments to the hospitality. We’ll be back!

We had a fantastic holiday, and the Summer Card meant we could use a lot of things for free. The farm has two goats, two rabbits, two ponies and a few chickens running around, though there are no cattle there in summer. The apartment is cleaned weekly, and you can get your towels changed. We stayed in the upper apartment, 'Sefa,' in the detached cottage beside the main house. It has a narrow wraparound balcony with a great panoramic view, plus a private infrared sauna in the master bedroom. The apartment is perfect for families with up to three children. The farm also has double rooms and small and large apartments, all with fantastic mountain views and a stunning setting. It isn’t secluded, though, with hotels all around. Everything was clean and tastefully furnished. Kids have plenty to do, with a trampoline, playground equipment and pony rides three times a week. The swimming pond is fenced, and parents can enter any time using a PIN. It’s a lovely place to swim or relax, but it’s not open on Sundays and is only for children aged 5 and up. The neighboring hotel below has a very nice indoor pool, swimming pond and great sauna area. The saunas at both the farm and hotel are for adults only. For family meals outside, the downstairs 'Max' apartment is the better choice, with a large table and chairs on the terrace. The balconies are otherwise too narrow for four people. You can also book the breakfast buffet in the main house. It includes farm-made butter, milk and cream cheese, but I would have liked refrigeration in summer. The salmon in particular was left at room temperature. There wasn’t much fruit, just some fruit salad. The evening meals are very high quality, with a choice of two main courses plus soup and dessert. The costs aren’t mentioned, and I would have preferred them to be clearly stated. For self-catering, the kitchen could be better equipped, with more crockery and utensils. I suspect most guests have half-board and don’t cook much themselves. One small drawback was that the winter beds were much too warm in the middle of summer.
